Comrade Obama's teleprompter has once again used him as a ventriloquist's dummy to spout platitudinous hogwash and outright lies, in support of a socialist agenda, to a fawning press. Note that Comrade Obama's teleprompter plans to cut the tax deductions for charitable donations so as to limit the amount that people have to give to charitable organizations.

Comrade Obama's teleprompter's plan is to eventually make it so difficult for middle income people to give charitable donations that most private charity will turn to the government for money. Then Comrade Obama's teleprompter will control all "social spending," which is what any good socialist wants to do.

Listening to my favorite radio talk show hosts, I hear again and again that they are surprised by the fact that the [Socialist] Democrats are always claiming that some new disaster awaits us if the government does not intervene. I do not find this phenomenon puzzling, however. The key to getting people to empower the government at their own expense is to always have a new disaster waiting in the wings. Content, happy people do not stampede well, and that is what the Democratic [Socialist] party's fear mongering  is designed to do: stampede people into voting away freedom in favor of more intrusive government.

They play on peoples fears, knowing that people in general do not think much, but emote instead.  Here is a sampling: The economy will collapse if THE GOVERNMENT does not do something right away; The polar bears will have no place to live because of global warming if  THE GOVERNMENT does not do something right away; Poor people will have no food or place to live if THE GOVERNMENT does not do so right away, etc., ad infinitum, ad nauseum. No crisis is too small, too large, or too false to be dreamt up and invoked by  the [Socialist] Democrats in the name of stampeding the great, unwashed mass of unthinking poltroons who swell the voter rolls. Without these convenient crises the Democratic [Socialist] agenda would be a great deal harder to accomplish, because they would have to fall back on plain old vote buying alone to acheieve their ends.
